Getting Excited!

I woke up this morning just feeling blah...you know those days where your body feels exhausted and you have a headache and nothing sounds better than crawling back in bed and snuggling up in those warm sheets?

Well...this morning was one of those mornings!
I took the hubs to work, came home, fixed some toast, fed the pups, put in a load of laundry , and just started feeling really tired again.

I decided that I would "rest" for just "a few minutes" before hopping in the shower and then head off to my Precept class. Well that turned into a couple more hours of sleep...whoops! I hated missing my class but I'm telling you...I woke up feeling like a million bucks. I'm actually kind of thankful that I was able to have a morning to just sleep. This week has not been particularly busy but I have been going to bed late and getting up early the past few mornings.

Late nights + early mornings = tired Hannah

Since my random morning of beauty sleep, I have been keeping busy by doing laundry, running errands, laundry, errands, and more laundry...

I'm really starting to get excited about mine and B's anniversary trip! This week has seemed like it has just been dragging on and on and on...I'm so ready for a vacay with my hubby! Can not wait!

Cheesy...yes!
Corny...absolutely!
But...I love my hubby and I'm just ready for a week off!!

Haha...alright, back to my laundry and to make a few new CD's for our road trip. Then a few hours at work and then...Spring Break begins!

Have a great day y'all :)

What I'm Loving Wednesday

Happy Wednesday y'all!!

Here's some things I'm lovin' on this cold, rainy day:

I'm loving that mine and Brian's two year anniversary is coming up, on Monday. I can not believe that it has already been two years...they have flown by! I fall in love with B more and more each and every day...so blessed :)

I'm loving that I have two more days until my Spring Break begins! Can't wait to travel with the hubs for a short vacay (to this fab city below) and spend some down time with him before he gets into super heavy study mode. He's got a BIG exam coming up for his board certification :/

I'm really looking forward to yummy meals, a day at the beach, shopping!, and just NOT being on a schedule.

I'm loving these cute dresses! All from Anthropologie:

And as always, I'm loving my sweet and wonderful hubby!

I hope you ladies have a fabulous Wednesday :)

Proud to Be A Wildcat...

What's your favorite color baby?!?!?

Blue and White!!!!

Such an awesome awesome awesome weekend to be in the Big Blue Nation!
We beat OSU and UNC and we are headed to...

THE FINAL FOUR!!!!

I am so proud to be a Wildcat and all this excitement took me back to my college days. Some of my best memories were when I danced for the UK Varsity Dance Team. We danced at all the football and men's basketball games and had a BLAST! We traveled to the SEC and cheered for our CATS and I wouldn't trade those years for the world. Such a fun experience :)

We traveled to Orlando and Las Vegas (twice!!) for national competitions and I am proud to say that the 2005 squad is the only team to bring home a national title. We've been close since, but it's pretty awesome to be a part of history.

love love love being a CATS fan...nothing beats it!! I will always BLEED BLUE!

Here's some pics from my UK dancing days...

Can't wait until Saturday...bring it UCONN!

OOOOOHHHH C-A-T-S Cats Cats Cats!!!!

What I'm Loving Wednesday

Happy Wednesday y'all!!!!

Here's some things that I'm loving on this beautiful day:

I'm loving the Precept study that I'm doing right now. It is on the book of Job and I'm really enjoying what I'm learning :) I have to admit....I felt a lil' overwhelmed when we started it. Mainly because...well, it's Job and I had to miss the first couple of classes due to being out of town but I'm back on track! This class keeps me accountable and I can only hope that I'm able to find another study like this, at our church in CT.

I'm loving my Lilly Pulitzer planner. These days seem to be crammed with lots to do and thank goodness that I have my trusty planner to keep me going in the right direction...and it's super cute!

I'm loving that I've been plowing through choreography, at the studio, this week. All my solo's are officially finished and I've been throwing out steps left and right to all my recital classes. If I keep going at this pace, all my classes will be finished before Spring Break...and that is AMAZING! Proud of my kiddos for working so hard. After the break it's just review, review, review....

{photo via}

I'm loving my new favorite perfume...Flowerbomb. I've been obsessing over this for quite some time and my Mom finally treated me to a huge gift set, for Christmas. I'm starting to run a lil' low and I need to scrape up some mula ($$$) to stock up again. It's perfect!

I'm loving the Diet Coke bottles that I found yesterday, at Fresh Market. Cute and fun to have around the house for these warm days :)

And as always....I'm loving my sweet hubby. He is absolutely amazing and each day I give thanks to be married to my best friend!!

Have a wonderful Wednesday ladies!!!

Wish List...

B and I are gearing up for our anniversary/ Spring Break getaway and I am beyond excited. Warm days, no work, quality time with the hubs, day at the beach, yummy food,....I could keep going on and on and on...

We are really looking forward to exploring Charlotte, NC and it is a potential move for us, after B's fellowship training next year :)

Here are some things that are on my vacay wish list...

This super cute tote from Vera Bradley. Perfect for carrying things around to the beach...love this for Spring and Summer.

I'm in desperate need for a new makeup bag. I've had mine for awhile now and it is just downright janky! Of course...Miss Vera has one in my fav design, Very Berry Paisley.

I'm also loving these cute (and inexpensive!!) flip flops from J.Crew...

A girl can never have too many flip-flops....right?!?!

Right!!!

And of course...it's not a road trip or a beach day without a good, easy read so I think I need to pick up Emily Giffin's latest novel, "Heart of the Matter".

Gotta get through just a few more days at work and we're off...can't wait!!

ABC's of Me...

I've seen this lil' "get to know you" post on other bloggies so I thought, "Hmmm...I should do that!"

I know I'm late to jump on the bandwagon but here goes...

Age: 25...but will be 26 next month. April is always a fun month for me and the hubs. We celebrate our anniversary (almost 2 years!!), B's birthday, and my birthday!!

Bed Size: Queen...for now ;) I would LOVE to have a King sometime in the near future.

Chore You Hate: I don't mind doing a lot of chores but I can not stand folding laundry. I don't mind washing it, don't mind drying it but after that? I tend to just stare at it for awhile as it sits in the basket...I'm thinking one day it may just fold itself. Ha!

Dogs: B and I are total dog people and we treat our pups as if they are our children. We love love love them SO much!!

Essential Start to Your Day: I have to start my day by reading my Bible and praying. Sometimes it's just a quick devotion...other days it's a long study where I really try to dig a little deeper and nourish my body, mind, and heart through His Word. Either way...it is essential that each day begin with some quiet time between myself and the Lord. It just gives me so much more peace before I tackle the day ahead.

Favorite Color: Easy...PINK!!

Gold or Silver: I'm more of a white gold or silver kind of girl...does anything beat a lil' gift that's wrapped up in this beautiful box?!?!

Height: In between 5'5 1/2" and 5'6"

Instruments You Play: A piano, that has been passed down in my family, was given to me when I was in high school. I taught myself how to play and I can't wait until B and I settle in our home so that we can move that beautiful piano to our place and display a lil' bit of family history. In middle school I was a total band geek and played the flute. I absolutely LOVE music!

Job Title: Dance Instructor and Choreographer, Head Coach for a high school dance team

Kids: No kids...yet! B and I definitely hope we're blessed when it comes to children...we would love to have a lil' brood of our own...maybe 3 or 4 kiddos?!?! We'll just have to wait and see what God has in store for us in this department!! It's crazy to think about...we used to NEVER talk about this...and now we talk about kids weekly. Not that we're in a hurry!! But...we're excited about this part of our lives.

Live: Currently in KY but this summer we'll be moving to CT!!

My Mom's Name: JoLynn...I love her name. Hoping to incorporate it in one of our kiddos names...if we have a girl.

Nickname: Han, Hannah Banana

Overnight Hospital Stay: No...knock on wood ;)

Pet Peeve: I really appreciate people who are organized and considerate of other people and their time. I have a monthly calendar with mine and B's schedule as well as my weekly planner, which is usually color coordinated (lame I know!!), and each day I make a list of my schedule so that I can be on time and I know what my day looks like. Now...I'm not always on time to everything...but I try really hard to be where I need to be at a decent time because I think it shows the other person/ people that you are considerate and respectful of their time. Things come up...that's life but I like to be prompt and I expect others to have that same respect. Other than that...when B bites his nails...worst sound ever!!

Quote from a Movie: I'm a sucker for a good Rom~Com and "The Notebook" is not only one of my favorite books but one of my favorite movies. I just love the story line and one of my favorite quotes comes from this movie:

" So it's not gonna be easy. It's going to be really hard; we're gonna have to work at this everyday, but I want to do that because I want you. I want all of you, forever, everyday. You and me...everyday."

This just melts my heart but I think it's such a true and honest statement when it comes to relationships/ marriage. It's not going to be perfect...it takes work and compromise. Everyday I thank God that I married my best friend and the love of my life.

Righty/Lefty: Righty

Sibling: I have an older brother and a younger sister. ***Interesting Fact: My mom had a kid in 70's, 80's and 90's...age difference?!?! Ummm... yes but it is so incredible how close we all are!!***

Time You Wake Up: It varies each day but I'm usually up and going, at the latest, 8 am. With my job, I usually don't get home till pretty late so I aim for a good 8 hours of sleep...doesn't always happen though. Nothing beats a day where you have zero commitments and you can sleep in and just be lazy...love days like that!!

Underwear: I feel like this is TMI but I'm a Victoria Secret kind of girl

Veggie You Dislike: I'm not huge fan of red bell peppers...my recipes could go without and I would be just fine!!

What Makes You Run Late: The continuos push of the snooze button or getting distracted on the computer...usually the latter. Doesn't take much to distract me ha ;)

XRays You've Had: I've had several due to some dance injuries...right foot, right ankle, right hip, right shoulder...hmmmm...my right side must be falling apart!!

Yummy Food You Make: I love trying new recipes and I'm proud to say that all my cooking has gotten the thumbs up from my hubs.

Zoo Animal: I have not been to the zoo in FOREVER!! But, I love elephants. There is something so beautiful about these huge, gentle giants.

Hope you enjoyed getting to know me a lil' bit more...this is so random!!
Have a great day girlies :)
