Fun Finds

Ladies, I'm so excited about my new purchases today!
I know, I know... I should be packing but this gal had to take a break and of course, where do I find myself?!?! On the computer... browsing Marley Lilly.

Oops!!

I've been "oohing" and "ahhing" over most of their items and here is what I found today:

These cute koozies. Mine will be hot pink with my initials in neon green. I can't wait to use it for those days at the beach and at football games!

I also got a pair of their croakies. These are also hot pink with my initials in neon green.
Can you tell what my two fav colors are?!?!
haha

There were a million other things that were just too cute but this gal has a budget ;)
Can't wait to get my lil' package of goodies.

Hope y'all had a great Monday!

What I'm Loving Wednesday

It's another rainy day here in the Bluegrass... but to brighten my day, I've linked up with This Kind of Love.

Here's what I'm loving today:

I'm loving that in ONE WEEK I'll be living in the New England. The more reading/research I do, the more excited I become! I'm really looking forward to spending the rest of our summer in CT.

The big thing I'm loving about summer in New England? The beautiful coast...

I'm loving that I finally set up my Skype account. I'm very thankful to have this so I can keep in touch with friends and family.

I'm loving these dresses from Anthropologie. They'd be perfect for a summer morning at church or date night with the hubby...

And as always... I'm loving my sweet, sweet hubby! I am just so proud of everything he has accomplished. Last Friday he graduated from his Radiology Residency and I am just in awe of his commitment to his work and the discipline that he has to dedicate so many years to school and training. God has truly blessed Brian with a gift and I am so honored to be a part of his life and this journey. I know Brian will be just as successful in this next chapter and I'm looking forward to the ride ;)

Here is a pic from after the graduation banquet... my hubby is on the far left... quite the looker if I say so myself!

Very Proud!!

Happy Wednesday y'all!!

Lots to Do!

Happy Monday!

I hope everyone had an awesome weekend... I know I did :) My weekend was filled with lots of work, family time, and packing. Only 9 more days until we pack up and move. I can NOT believe it. I know I've said it a thousand times but time really has flown by and I know these next few days will be a blur.

I feel like my "to do" list just keeps growing by the minute!

Today is a rainy day here in the Bluegrass so I'm hoping to get a few things done around the house and sort through some odds and ends that are still laying around here. A good book may be on the agenda too... the absolute best way to spend a rainy afternoon!

I guess I should do a lil' bit of this as well...

I'm literally just staring at the massive piles of clothes staring at me right now... lots to do!
I have a love/hate relationship with laundry ;)

Have a great Monday ladies...

Smile, it's Friday!

It's Friday!!!!

I'm so happy the weekend is here... yay :)

My weekend actually started a lil' early. Last night several of the teachers and their families got together for a big cookout and just had a night to relax. SO MUCH FUN!! Recital wore all of us down so it was great to just hang out and not worry about work, students, or costumes ;) We had yummy food and yummy drinks! Have y'all ever had summer beer?!?! I had not... until last night! Thank you Kris for introducing me to a new beverage. I had not even heard of it... not that I'm a big drinker anyways. I'll have the occasional glass of wine when friends are in town or with a meal but other than that, I'm pretty tame. This was yummy yummy yummy... it's beer, vodka, and limeade/ lemonade.

Basically... it was a fun night with fun friends!

Today is a lil' hectic. Lots on the to do list but it's Friday soooo... that makes everything easier.
The hubby only has to work a half day so we'll be spending our afternoon running errands and then heading to his Senior Graduation Banquet tonight. I'm excited to celebrate with B and his fellow residents... they have accomplished so much. Very proud!!

I hope everyone enjoys this sunny day!

I'm Back!

Ladies... I've returned to the real world!

The past 7 days I've been breathing, eating, and living dance. Sequins, buns, make up, and glow sticks... our recital was a HIT! I am very proud to be a part of such a talented dance studio. Our students are amazing, our teachers are wonderful and our year ended with our final performance last night.

This year was very bittersweet for me. I grew up at this dance studio, starting dance at the age of 3. 23 years later, after performing, competing, teaching, and choreographing at the same institution... it came to an end. I will not be there everyday like I have grown accustomed too over the past several years but at the same time I am so excited about this next chapter in my life. Since my lil' sis is still dancing her heart out, I know I'll be back. I'll come and do some solo's for my kiddos and I'll keep supporting my second family and cheering them on at any competition I can make it too!

I am really looking forward to exploring a new area of the country and beginning something new with my hubby. This is a new start... a fresh start! I love my DESOD fam with everything in me and I know I will stay close with the friends I've made along the way... thank goodness for Facebook and Skype! haha ;)

We had a great week but I am happy to have some "free" time so I can dedicate it to packing... we are way behind on my schedule!

Here are some of my favorite pics that I took during the show...

Those lil' ones are TOO CUTE!!

Well... I'm headed off to enjoy some down time with all my fellow teachers. Looking forward to a fun night!

Have a great day y'all!!
